NBA ALL-STAR VENDOR DIVERSITY PROGRAM
The NBA All-Star Vendor Diversity Program has been providing opportunities to woman- and minority- owned vendors to participate in the NBA All-Star procurement process for over a decade. Working in partnership with local certifying agencies and business advocacy groups the NBA will identify woman- and minority-owned businesses in the Orlando area. With the assistance of these local partners the NBA will disseminate program information to the local business community.
Upon completion of the application process a woman and minority vendor database will be available on this web-site. This database will serve as a resource for NBA staff, NBA contractors and NBA business partners seeking to procure goods and services for NBA All-Star 2012.
While participation in the program does not guarantee a bid opportunity it does provide on-going information on the procurement process and through the guide introduces these businesses to potential purchasers for All-Star and its related activities.

In Florida, estimates of the jobless rate among disabled, working-age adults — including large numbers of young, severely injured soldiers returning to civilian life — run as high as 50 percent.
